My family bakes sourdough and it’s recommended to store it in paper, but these wax wraps are so much better at preventing the crust from turning to tooth-breaking stone. The inside of the loaf also stays soft and chewy for much much longer too! We always use beeswax wraps to store bread now.
Pro tip: fold your wrap into a pouch, slip your bread inside, and make sure the edges are folded twice to prevent dry air from getting at your bread baby.
