The Story of Bee Kind
Founded in 2017, Bee Kind began as a way for Evan to educate her community on the desperate situation of marine plastic pollution. Previously a scuba dive instructor and full-time water baby, Evan, with the help of her mom, started a mini beeswax wrap factory out of their kitchen in Halfmoon Bay. Many craft fairs and late nights next to the crock pot of wax ensued, and they realized this was no longer just a passion project: they were onto something much bigger.
Three years later, and Bee Kind has a thriving product line, a loyal following of supporters, is currently sold in over 100 locations across North America, and is all powered by an inspiring team of women in Vancouver, BC. Each beeswax wrap design is still hand-painted by Evan's mom.
Staying true to our ethos, we are proud to give back a portion of our profits to a variety of marine conservation initiatives. Read about the projects we are currently supporting!Giving Back
